STRATEGIES TO CONTROL YOUR WORRIES: Do worries get the better of you?
I always say, if you are troubled, then learn about what’s troubling you.
This type of knowledge gives you understanding.
Knowledge is power.
When you understand, you are less sensitive.
This may lead to a better mental and emotional state.
STRATEGIES TO CONTROL YOUR WORRIES
In my sessions you will learn:
Worry
Exactly what worry is, and different types of worries.
Assessment
Self assessment so that you know where you are at and where you need to go.
Your body
What happens to your body: understanding this helps to appreciate and respect why your body produces certain symptoms.
You
Then you learn about you. You learn what you can do to help your body when it begins to show symptoms of stress and unease. What works for you may not work so well for someone else, so you will get to know yourself a little better because you will pay “different” attention to yourself. You become a detective and learn more about you.
Thoughts, feelings, and behaviours
You will learn about the relationship between thoughts, feelings and behaviours. How they relate to one another and how they can help one another.
Practice calm
Practicing whilst calm is key to teaching the body how you want it to calm down when it needs to. You see, if you are emotionally aroused, you cannot follow your logical plan to calm down too well. What you need is to teach your body to find and access its calm patterns automatically. Then your amazing unconscious mind will be able to access it when it most needs it. I always say you get good at what you practice. So practice calm.
Expert
Take the pressure off yourself by knowing what you can control and what you cannot. Learn a way to talk to yourself and to your worries. You become your own expert. Learn the way your body talks.
Self tak
The way you speak to yourself is critical. I will teach you reframing techniques so that you can rewire your way of speaking as this is critical ( the unconscious mind is always listening and believes everything you say, even if you are just speculating ).
It’s important to speak the way you wish to live
Strategy
Compartmentalisation is a great skill, I use it all the time. I talk about it in my Coping Skills Handbook; using a mind jars technique as an example. You will explore a technique that works for you.
Time
Did you know that it’s ok to worry. It’s just not useful to worry all day long. Sometime you need to make a plan and schedule when to worry and work something out. You can also give yourself permission to not worry unnecessarily.
Learn strategies to control your worries. Do what you need for wellness.
Strategies, strategies, strategies. Thats what you need. Thats what you will get out of this program.
Ask me how I can help you find strategies to control your worries. Get ready to rewire, refocus and be happy.
Any age. The strategies are pretty much the same, but the language is different. So it will work for you, no matter your age. So let’s find strategies to control your worries.
The program will work well with counselling skills integrated into hypnotherapy.
As a bonus, sessions can be conducted online via Telehealth and online video therapy.
